Hi Mom, It's Me

Hope, Love, and the Afterlife

What if grief isn’t an ending, but the beginning of a different kind of connection?

In Hi Mom, It’s Me, Nancy Yuskaitis shares the soul-stirring true story of a mother’s unimaginable heartbreak—losing both daughters, decades apart—and the mystical bridge that kept their love alive. Hi Mom, It's Me: Hope, Love, and the Afterlife

“‘Hi Mom, It’s Me,’ by Nancy Yuskaitis, offers rich encouragement for those who are grieving, especially those who are grieving the death of loved ones. It can be a vital source of hope in the midst of unspeakable heartbreak. In relating her personal journey around the deaths of her daughters, Lavender and Crystal (the Soulful Starlights), Yuskaitis describes the power of miracles and also practical steps that can bring relief and greater life balance in the face of profound loss. She emphasizes the importance of self-love, self-care, and not grieving alone, three elements I believe are key in learning how to reframe grief. This book can be a gentle and instructive companion for readers who may be seeking friendship as they find their way with grief and knowing they are not alone.”
Ellen Antill, M.A., Grief Counselor
“Nancy has given those who grieve an amazing gift, which reminds us that death does not affect the bonds of love we share with our departed child, and our unconditional love can bring us connectedness and peace even though we’ve gone through the worst nightmare any parent could have. This is an intimate, courageous work offering a look into the universals in the healing journey from learning to navigate devastating grief to a sense of oneness with life and an expanded sense of love for all that is. She offers many different ways to cooperate with our healing process, including art therapy, music, and ‘Soulful suggestions.’ Her quotes at the end give much food for ‘Soul thoughts.’ Those who enter this healing journey will be transformed in beautiful ways by the time they finish this book.”

“There is so much in this book that is of value. The author bravely lays open her raw and honest feelings about the loss of two children but misery memoir, this is not. It is an inspiring, beautiful, and uplifting account. She also offers her insights into various aspects of the Spirit World and how soothing communication with deceased loved ones can be.
