It Hurts Too Much

What Your Attorney Won't Tell You and How to Beat the System

What do you do when it hurts too much and the system meant to protect you turns its

back?

After an accident, most people trust the insurance company. They trust the friendly voice.

Then the bills grow. Calls stall. Pressure builds to settle fast.

In It Hurts Too Much, veteran attorney Paul Samakow shares what really happens behind the scenes and what injured people must understand before making costly decisions.

Inside, you will learn:
1- Why insurance companies delay and minimize claims
2- The Five Pillars every strong attorney must practice
3- How early settlements can cost you your future
4- What to do in the first 48 hours after an accident

This is not a theory. These are real stories and hard truths. Fairness does not happen by accident. Someone has to fight for it.

It Hurts Too Much: What Your Attorney Won't Tell You and How to Beat the System

I conducted a mediation recently with multiple parties and attorneys, with the primary focus being to equitably divide a seven-figure insurance policy. Paul Samakow represented two Plaintiffs with less severe injuries than others. Notwithstanding this fact, Mr. Samakow's common-sense approach, coupled with his willingness to compromise for the benefit of all litigants, was instrumental in resolving all issues. It is indeed refreshing to work with a seasoned attorney who literally rolled his sleeves up to assist not only this mediator, but also attorneys at the settlement table, to obtain a just result. I welcome the opportunity to work with Paul Samakow in the future, for I know such will truly be a productive and successful experience.

My name is Dr. Veronica Lawrence, retired Navy Master Chief and CEO of Inclusivity EQ LLC, an AI adoption consulting firm. I met Paul Samakow over a year ago at a charity event where he served as a benefactor. What began as a chance meeting evolved into a mentorship that proved instrumental in launching my business. I've watched Paul deliver public presentations on effective communication and transparency, and what struck me immediately was how his approach differed from that of typical business speakers. Paul doesn't just teach persuasion techniques – he embodies them. He's empathetic, personable, and genuinely relatable. People trust him because his values align perfectly with his behavior. This isn't performance; it's authenticity in action.

It is said that time is not measured by the extent to which it passes. Rather, it is measured by the extent to which it is used. Every moment spent listening to Paul Samakow, accomplished author and speaker extraordinaire, promotes personal growth that stimulates new awakenings in you. Your time spent with Paul doesn't end when his talk is over, indeed not. You see, when Paul speaks, he is planting seeds that blossom in your mind long after the event is over. One thing you can count on is that you don't just hear his words; you visualize them, which evolves into changes in your thinking. I am a marketing specialist for over 40 years and have always yearned to somehow earn a living by producing TV shows. It's that dream that most of us have, and carry with us, but never actualize.

FAQ

1. What inspired you to write this book?

I have reached an age where I feel the knowledge I have gained during
my life was worthwhile, and I wanted to share it. I also wanted to expose the
automobile insurance industry, as many people think the adjusters are “on their side.”
They are not, and this book provides insight into how to succeed when involved in an
auto accident.

2. What will your readers gain from your book?

I hope readers will gain an insight into being true to themselves, while
also having the perspective of someone who has experienced a great deal in human
relations, success, and persuasive tools – persuasive not to manipulate, but to
accomplish goals with both sides “winning.”

3. What was your unique quotient for this project?

My approach to this book was to provide real-life truth about what
insurance companies do and how to fight them. So many books talk about “insurance
company tactics.” In this book, I dive deeper and not only provide “what they do,” but
“why they do it,” and “how to combat it.” As well, the book was designed to share my
professional life perspective on dealing with clients – this was not the routine “what a
lawyer does,” but “what a lawyer should do and why.”

4. How did becoming an author help in your brand/business?

I have now authored 11 books, and there is no question that they have
established a branding that without them would never have occurred. Regarding
helping my business, I stopped counting the number of new clients who hired me
because they got my book and wanted me as their attorney.

5. What are your future plans as an author?

I think I have at least 2 more books inside of me. One is going to be a
“fun” book telling tales about my employees and former employees.

6. What will you learn from this book?

Readers will learn persuasive techniques. They will learn what I believe is
respectful dealing with others. They will learn about the automobile claims insurance
industry and how nasty that industry truly is.
