What inspired you to write this book?

My father was diagnosed with cholesterol and he is very fond of eating delicious food. I cannot imagine my dad eating bland food. He always says “I don’t eat to live, I live to eat”. Keeping my dad’s health in mind, I was experimenting with cooking food without using any oil. After failing many times, I could finally figure out what works and what did not work.

What will your readers gain from your book?

With this book, my hope is to give readers, a gift of a healthy lifestyle. I know it is not easy to eat or cook without oil every day. But, imagine replacing your regular food/meal with no oil recipes just once or twice a week? Bringing in slow changes will result in long term success. As the recipes are deliciously healthy and easy to cook, I am sure my readers will love to make this change for their better health.


What was your unique quotient for this project?

I would say my numerous try trying to rebel against the conventional way of cooking and marinating the taste as well. Learning about the natural oil inside the food and using that for benefit of cooking gave me success.

How did becoming an author helped in your business?

Writing my book helped me immensely in my business overall. I have now converted my book into a cooking course and I already have more than 30,000 students enrolled in it so far. Although cooking is more like my passion than a business. But, my book has helped me put into an authoritative position when it comes to creative cooking.

What are your future plans as an author?

I aspire to write many books related to a healthy lifestyle and using food as medicine.
