SCION Book

Scion - Dawn of Midnight

In this world, Heka is everywhere. This can both be helpful and harmful, as seen through the eyes of Astra.

Riddled with grief, she must learn to use her megin for good. However, not everyone is ready to help her do so. She is thrust into a journey of epic proportions in a different realm in search for answers, hidden truths, advice, and a way back home to Ekocia to seek vengeance.
Many will try to stop her, curse her, and kill her in the process—one will wonder if her megin and (desire to live) will be strong enough to face some newfound enemies, face some hard truths, and spur her on to be the hero she needs.

This book is an epic read into the world of fantasy and magical realism. Grab your copy today!!

Scion: Dawn of Midnight is a wonderful read. The story will hook you in the beginning, and the characters will stay with you long after finishing. There are so many well written characters that I do not know which one is my favorite. Can't wait for the next book!!!

FAQ

Jaden Smith’s album Syre inspired some of the characters in Scion. My love of true crime and dark origin stories for reluctant heroes inspired the subplot and a lot of the tragedy in my characters’ lives. My desire for something new and different inspired my direction to tell the story.

An appreciation for a different type of world building and character relationships and how they individually deal with trauma. A love for each and every character brought into the story.

I do not understand this question; could you please elaborate? How did becoming an author help in your brand/business? I don’t have a brand or business. Becoming an author helped me learn marketing skills and helped me to be more comfortable on social media platforms and sharing myself with more people.

My future plans are to own a tea and coffee bookstore and possibly two or three homeless shelters.
